10:00am Monday 3rd September 2012 in News
FANCY getting some fresh air in your lungs? St Helens and District Rambling Club (SHDRC) are planning several outings over the upcoming weeks and always welcome new members.
A variety of walks will take place on September Sundays (2, 9, 16, 30) with the first outing (Sept 2) to Church Stretton in Shrophire where, once again, five walks will be on offer ranging between 6 and 13.5 miles.
Barrowdale in the Lake District is the venue for the second outing on September 9 when there will be just one walk, the ascent of Scafell Pike via the Corridor Route.
Later in September, the SHDRC are heading out to Cartmel in Cumbria (Sept 16) with walks ranging from 6.5 to the more adventurous 15.5 miles. The last walk of the month (Sept 30) will be relatively local at Whalley in Lancashire, five walks will range from 7 to 15 miles.
