Two lorries involved in East Lancs crash

MOTORISTS faced delays this morning after a crash involving two lorries and a car on the East Lancashire Road.

Police were called at 9.15am near to the junction with Carr Mill Road following the collision between a Mercedes HGV, a Volvo HGV and red BMW car.

A stretch of the road was closed until 10.50am, causing tailbacks. There were no reports of any injuries.
