SOS for fun day volunteers

VOLUNTEERS are desperately needed for the annual RSPCA family fun day and dog show at Taylor Park.
The event, which organisers hope will raise much- needed funds for the Warrington, Halton and St Helens branch of the RSPCA, which helps sick and abandoned animals in the St Helens area, is on Sunday, September 19, from 11am to 4pm.
Organisers say around 15 volunteers are needed on the day to help guide stallholders and to help set up gazebos and stalls.
Volunteers are also required to help the public with their inquiries and litter picking.
Volunteers will need to be at the venue for a 9am start, with a view to finishing at 5pm.
Food will not be provided, so organisers ask that anyone who offers their services brings their own.
