PUPPETRY, pigeons and the pig will star in today’s spectacular Summer Streets festival in St Helens.

The town centre will once again be awash with street entertainers and spectacular sights.

The three days spectacular has brought a touch of Covent Garden to St Helens, with a strong focus on public entertainment.

It has already proved a real spectacle from dinosaurs, to stilt walkers; escapologists to a huge inflatable cobra.

Among the highlights today (Friday), includes comedy group The Pigeons, Tiny the Dinosaur and Squashbox Theatre.
