Rugby league author looking forward to gruelling challenge

SAINTS supporter and rugby league ghost writer Andrew Quirke will be taking part in a 24 hour Thunder Run this weekend at Catton Park to raise money for the Steve Prescott Foundation.

The event comprises 24 off road relay race of ten kilometre laps.

Andrew, aged 35, has been training for the event since last August but is used to gruelling challenges having recently completed 120 lengths at a small hours of the morning swimathon.

Andrew said: “I like a challenge and also want to keep reasonably fit so me and my colleagues formed a team to enter the race.

“It is also for a cause I believe in greatly.”
