The Range will advertise 150 vacancies in St Helens later in the year

MORE than 1,500 people have already made enquiries about getting a job at homeware store The Range, which is due to open later this year in St Helens.
The Star revealed earlier how the retailer has signed a deal to move into the ex-Tesco store at Chalon Way.
And it has also been reported this week that a major fast food chain is showing interest in locating there too. The site will be renamed as Chalon Way retail park.
Meanwhile, The Range, which will create about 150 part-time and full-time jobs, is aiming to open before December this year.
Vacancies, which range from department managers to warehouse and administration staff, will be advertised via the Jobcentre later this year.
