Space-age robot Titan to land in St Helens
6:06pm Tuesday 10th July 2012 in News
Titan the robot will visit St Helens in July.
IT looks like something from the set of Hollywood blockbusters Iron Man or Transformers...but on one day later this month this space-age robot will be landing in St Helens.
Titan the robot, an 8ft mechanical star who has worked alongside stars such as Will Smith, Rhianna and Jackie Chan, will head to Church Square on Saturday, July 28 for three free town centre shows.
The mighty walking, talking robot, sings ballads, dances and talks to create a unique street theatre experience.
He has been a star attraction across the world and featured at events ranging from the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix to several UK film premieres.
Four-and-a half years in development, Titan made his first appearance at the Glastonbury Festival in 2004.
