ONE of the biggest events in Haydock Park racecourse’s calendar takes place later this month when legendary singer Sir Tom Jones comes to town.

And you could be among the crowds after the Star teamed up with Haydock chiefs to offer three pairs of tickets for the race evening and concert that takes place on Saturday, June 18.

Organisers are billing it as the racecourse’s top music night of 2011 and believe the Welsh singing legend, who turned 71 this month, will be among the most famous star’s ever to have performed there.

Sir Tom, an international superstar, who has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, is set to stage a show of classic hits, special selections and songs following the race meeting.
