AS this cheeky little lad posed for his picture while munching on a hotdog, little did he know that his face would soon feature in an exhibition in China.
The shot, snapped near Chalon Way in St Helens town centre, was taken on a Sunday in April, but the photographer Keith Sweeney only took his first name.
Now he wants to trace the boy, named Callum, to say thank you for helping him grab a spot at the World Expo Trade Fair in Shanghai, which is expected to attract 70 million visitors.
The 45-year-old from Prescot, who works for the National Museum in Liverpool, was one of nine photographers selected through English Heritage, following a competition on Radio Merseyside.
Keith, who said he wouldn’t be making the trip to the Far East, explained: “I had stopped this little lad who was with his mum and some friends and asked to take their picture.
“He had been eating a hotdog and demolished it right in front of me. But I didn’t get his name and would like to say thanks for letting me take the picture.”
