FLASHING bunny ears, feather boas and pink tutus filled the streets on Saturday night, as hundreds of women joined the Moonlight Walk.

Their fun-filled efforts have so far raised more than £45,000 for Willowbrook Hospice.

Walker Margaret Davies, said: “The atmosphere was fantastic and everybody was so lovely.

“People came out of their houses in their nighties and waved and supported us.”

Women of all ages teamed up to celebrate the lives of their loved ones, support cancer sufferers, have fun and get fit.

They walked through the streets of St Helens and Knowsley, as darkness fell.

The hospice wishes to thank all the women, local organisations and volunteer stewards who helped to make the event such a success.
