A MAN who went into a house that had been shut down by a court because if its links with anti-social behaviour has been fined and ordered to pay costs totalling £165.
Appearing at St Helens Magistrates’ Court, Billy Joe Walsh (21), of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to the offence - which took place on December 9.
The house, at 30 Gleave Street, St Helens, was covered by a three-month closure order that was imposed by the magistrates on October 28 last year.
Last year neighbours alleged they had endured months of anti-social behaviour – including noise and verbal abuse - directly linked to the terraced house.
The order has recently been extended to July 27, 2010 and means no one is allowed inside the premises.
