TOWNSFOLK are being invited to an open afternoon by a group which aims to give people more choice and control over their lives.
The event held by Safe Hands Care in the United Reformed Church in Ormskirk Street is on Wednesday, February 17 from 12.30 pm. There will be light refreshments available.
Lynne Crozier told the Star: “The service opened on February 2 and offers social care and opportunities to adults with disabilities at the United Reformed Church.
“We hope that the open afternoon will give the people of St Helens an opportunity to view the venue, meet staff and sample the atmosphere and some of the activities that are available."
