Aidan Davis dazzles youthful crowds Christmas Lights switch on

Aidan Davis signs autographs at the big lights switch on.
THE dazzling steps of teenage dancer Aidan Davis helped draw a crowd of around 5,000 to the St Helens Christmas Lights switch on, say organisers.
The Britain’s Got Talent finalist put on a couple of new street dance routines to entertain s youthful audience on Saturday.
The whiz-kid was joined by cartoon character Peppa Pig and the Mayor of St Helens, Terry Shields, who flicked the switch to turn on the festive lights.
The event also previewed some of the entertainment available in St Helens this winter.
Leading players from two pantomimes, Cinderella at the Theatre Royal and The Snow Queen at The Citadel, joined the Sing Out Choir who performed a host of traditional carols and festive music.
There was also music from X-factor contestant Stacey McClean, Aquablakk, Haydock Brass and former De La Salle pupil, Carmella Finnigan.
Meanwhile, three lucky fans got the chance to meet their dancing idol.
Declan Mills, Hannah Arden and Ashley Tinder were thrilled to quiz the dancing sensation Aidan and receive a signed photograph.
Three lucky competition winners; Georgina May Lewis, William Bates and Talia Clark won the chance to meet Peppa Pig and a receive a Peppa Pig prize donated by the Early Learning Centre and Boots.
