Man suffers suspected broken ankle putting out fire

A MAN in his 30 suffered a suspected broken ankle after leaping over a garden fence to put out a fire started by arsonists.
Vandals had torched a Wendy House at the back of a house at Knights Grange in Fingerpost at around 3.40am. The fire caused damage to the fence and doubled glazed windows at the back of the property. He was treated for his injuries at Whiston Hospital.
