Man arrested over raid at petrol station

A 47-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a robbery in which cash was stolen from a transit van at Tesco petrol station in Prescot.
Raiders struck at around 6.20pm yesterday at Cables Retail Park. The man, from West Derby in Liverpool was arrested after police executed two warrants.
