CELEBRITY snappers caught Carley Stenson looking in great shape as she enjoyed the sun-soaked ‘Westlife’ wedding of her pal Jodi Albert in Barbados.

And once again this year the Holloyoaks actress (pictured) from St Helens will be putting her fitness to the test to raise cash for Cancer Research UK.

The 26-year-old, from Billinge, will be taking part in Race for Life at Knowsley on Tuesday, July 14.

Carley, nominated for sexiest actress at this year’s British Soap Awards, was a guest at the wedding of her former co-star Jodi and Westlife singer Kian Egan at a lavish ceremony earlier this month.

Now back on home soil she is urging ladies across the town to join what is the UK’s largest women-only fundraising event series.

Women of all ages and fitness levels are invited to sign up to walk, jog or run 5k to raise money to help beat cancer.

Of the more than 45,500 women diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK, 1,566 women are from Cheshire and Merseyside.

Last year the charity invested over £1m on research in Liverpool and Merseyside.

Carley, who describes Race for Life as “fantastic fun”, said: “I’ve taken part for some years now and particularly love the event in Knowsley as it’s such a beautiful venue.

“I’d urge all women to sign-up and take part to help Cancer Research UK help future generations affected by cancer.”

Places are still available in Race for Life at Knowsley and St Helens.

The Knowsley event takes place on Tuesday, July 14 at 7.30pm at Knowsley Hall.

The St Helens event is on Wednesday, June 17, starting at 7.30pm at Sherdley Park.
