Its good to see that this young man is beginning to make a recovery at last. I hope he continues to progress, to make a full recovery after the dreadful, mindless act that happened to him. The day I heard of this made me ashamed to originate from St Helens. St Helens used to be a good town with good people, and I am sure that not all of the people left in St Helens are thugs, so come on you townsfolk, lets stick together and get these yobs out of our town!

well said sue couldnt agree more this young lads parents must be going through hell, and these thugs are still wondering the streets lock them up and throw the key away,better still ship them out to a remote island and let lem rot.

People seem to think this young man is making a recovery. I'd like to put you in the picture. He is still fighting for his life. He is still in a coma in ICU having had an opperation to remove a bleed from his brain which meant removing a piece of his skull. Should he pull through the chances are he will have brain damage. I hope these yobs are 'proud' of what they have done to this young man and his family! How big they were that large gang of not just lads but girls as well almost kicking this young mad to death. Now his poor family who are friends of mine are going through hell sitting day by day at his bedside watching and waiting while these yobs are wondering around enjoying life. Forget putting them on an island thats far too good for them, bring back hanging and the birch I say.
They should also be named and shamed with their pictures distributed for everyone to see what sort of people do this barbaric thing to innocent people.
As for the cost of keeping Craig alive in ICU these yobs should be made to pay the full cost of that. After all it was their brutality that put in hospital in the first place.
My thoughts and prayers are with Craig and his family and for his loyal friend who lay over Craigs head to protect him while these yobs were trying to kick him to death.

It is so sad, i feel for craig and his family. I just hope the filth that did this to him get the maximum sentences possible, hopefully life in prison, and even then thats too good for them.
