There are traffic delays on the M62 this evening
A VEHICLE fire on the M62 is causing delays for motorists this evening.
There are two lanes closed and queueing traffic on the motorway eastbound between Rainhill Stoops and Burtonwood.
The vehicle fire is on the hard shoulder.
Reports state that all traffic was held between 5.50pm and 6pm to allow the fire services assist.
Westbound traffic is reportedly slow due to onlookers.
