I WISH to comment on the article: '"Systemic failure” to address weaknesses exposing children to “significant risk of harm” – Ofsted inspectors'.
I can’t even begin to say how devastated I am by this happening on my doorstep, under my name as council tax payer supporting St Helens.
My heart bleeds for these vulnerable children and young people.
No excuses, no hiding, no politics.
I don’t care to hear how “we didn’t know.”
Ruling local politics requires that you do know.
I’m an ex-social worker in child care and an educator, magistrate etc.
This should NEVER have happened.
