A MAN has been charged with offences including taking a vehicle without consent and drug driving.
Police pulled a car over on Stanley Bank Way, Haydock on May 7 after a driver was allegedly not wearing a seatbelt.
Officers arrested a suspect in connection with several alleged offences.
Kyle Garrity, 31, of Cooper Avenue, Newton-le-Willows, has been charged with taking a motor vehicle without the owner's consent; possession of cannabis; driving with traces of cannabis in his blood and driving without third-party insurance.
Garrity is due to appear before Merseyside Magistrates' Court this afternoon (Wednesday, August 1).
