THE death of a man whose body was found at a building site this morning, Monday, is not being treated as "suspicious" by police.
Emergency services including four police cars, a forensics van and an ambulance were called to the former Prescot Water Tower site opposite the Wellington pub in Eccleston Park at 7.55am.
It is near to the boundary with Prescot.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "The man has been identified and his next of kin are in the process of being informed.
"Enquiries are ongoing. At this stage the death is not being treated as suspicious."
