PROPOSALS have been drawn up seeking permission to build 54 homes at an unused former church site.
Plans seek to create the houses along with associated access and ancillary works at the site of Our Lady Mother Of God Parish Centre on Fleet Lane, Parr.
The application is for 54 new homes, comprising of four four-bedroom houses; 29 three-bedroom houses and 21 two-bedroom houses.
Plans have been submitted by MCI Developments and state all units will be built for and managed by Sovini Housing Group.
Plans state: "The development will contribute towards the ongoing vitality of this part of Parr by helping to provide new affordable homes for local people.
"The design and layout is appropriate for the location and will improve a currently underused site".
Plans are on consultation until Friday, August 3.
