A HOUSEBUILDERS based in Newton-le-Willows has expanded its team.

Miller Homes welcomed two new faces to their growing sales team, as the company looks to build more new homes across the region to meet demand for quality housing.

Andy Brooks and Jennifer Blinston have joined the team as a development sales manager and sales advisor, working on site to help house hunters find their dream home.

Andy’s appointment highlights the opportunities in the industry for those looking for a career change – working in the financial industry for over 20 years before choosing a new path.

Since joining the company with previous experience at Wain Homes and Gleeson Homes, Andy has been getting involved in the local community – meeting the Garstang Cricket Club junior teams and launching Miller Homes’ latest development, Roe Lee Gardens.

Commenting on his new position, Andy said: “I’m delighted to have joined the Miller Homes team. It’s been incredible to get stuck in right away – since joining only a short time ago I’ve already opened a new development, Roe Lee Gardens, and met the local clubs we’re proud to support – I can’t wait to see what the future brings!”

Jennifer now supports the sales across all of Miller’s seven North West developments, and also joins the Miller team following a very different career – previously working in the Pharmaceutical industry after gaining her first experience with Westbury Homes and Charles Church Homes. Having lived in the North West her entire life, Jennifer is able to offer house hunters the most in-depth knowledge of the local area.

Jennifer added: “I am so glad to be back in the industry – I’ve enjoyed different careers but my passion lies in working with house hunters one on one to find their perfect home. Although I’ve only been with the company for a short time, I’ve loved every day!”

Earlier this year, Miller Homes announced that they will be bringing 345 new homes to the North West in 2018, as the company works to bring high quality housing to meet growing demand from the region.
