The Roads Policing Unit arrested a suspect last night
POLICE have detained a suspected illegal immigrant who was waking along the M62 in Knowsley last night.
The Roads Policing Unit reported spotting the suspect walking along the M62 near to junction six westbound, close to the borough's boundary.
Officers say the suspected illegal immigrant was arrested and is now awaiting process by the Home Office.
