STUDENTS from the past, present and future came together to celebrate the 60th anniversary of St Cuthberts Catholic High School.
The music festival, which was open for the whole community, was part of the special anniversary celebrations, called #StCuthFEST aimed at celebrating the diversity of music from their past, present and future.
It was hosted by Wish FM presenter and Saints Stadium announcer, Chris Milow, and included acts from year 5 pupils at its four partner primaries, the school’s rock and brass bands, solo performances from current students and staff as well as welcoming back former pupils Daisy Hatton, who is now a Royal College of Music student, and Rock n Roll three piece from Merseyside, Sapho.
Head teacher, Cath Twist said “Music is a great way of bringing our community together – therefore it was delightful to welcome members of our school family past, present and future to come and join us at this very special summer event, and celebrate 60 years of our school’s history in style.”
The event was held in the school grounds on Friday, July 13.
