A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital with injuries including a broken collarbone and knee after a collision with a car on Friday afternoon.
The collision took place between an Astra car and a Piaggio scooter on Park Road, Fingerpost at around 5.20pm on Friday, July 13.
The rider was taken to hospital in an ambulance after the incident.
He sustained a broken collarbone and broken knee, which has been operated on.
The man remains in hospital.
A police spokesman said: "There were no injuries to the car driver and the car had some minor damage."
