THREE men were arrested after police pursued suspects on foot after a construction site was broken into.
Officers were called to reports late last Wednesday shortly before midnight, of men breaking into a construction site in Prescot.
The offenders were reported to be attempting to steal a JCB.
Police say three suspects made off from the site towards Warrington Road and were detained nearby.
Three men from Huyton aged 39 , 36 and 39 were arrested on suspicion of attempt theft of a JCB, criminal damage, going equipped for theft and vehicle interference.
