A GROUP of men stormed into a retail park store and stole electronic devices including mobile phones and tablets.
At around midday yesterday the men struck at the EE stand at Argos on the Ravenhead Retail Park while customers were in the shop.
The group reportedly smashed the displays to gain access to the devices and make off with them.
One customer, who was in the store the time who wishes to remain anonymous, described how the men "started smashing" at the devices on the display.
"All the alarms went off, they then made away with the iPads (sic) off the display. It was very frightening for me and my children".
A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We were called at 12.20pm on Sunday to reports that a group of males had stolen tablets and mobile phones from inside the store.
"Enquiries are ongoing.
"Anyone with information is asked to DM @MerPolCC on Facebook, or call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting log 595 of July 8."
