The St Helens Linkway was closed for an hour
POLICE were called to the St Helens Linkway last night after concerns for the safety of a woman in her 20s.
Officers and ambulance crews were sent to Sherdley Hall Farm Bridge at 10.20pm and closed the linkway between Elton Head Road and the McDonald's roundabout.
After about an hour, the woman was talked to safety and the road reopened at 11.25pm.
