AMBULANCE vehicles were called after a road collision took place earlier today (Monday, June 11).
Emergency services attended Woodlands Road in Haresfinch after the incident at around midday.
One person has been taken to hospital, said a spokeswoman for North West Ambulance.
She added: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Woodlands Road.
"We sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance van. We have taken one patient to Whiston Hospital."
Details of injuries suffered have not yet been disclosed.
