FIRE CREWS tackled a blaze that affected a house and a garden.
Flames broke out at the property on Bramhall Mews, The Avenue, in St Helens during the early hours of Friday morning.
Three fire engines attended the incident and found guttering, a summer house, fence panels and trees at the rear of the property affected by fire.
The fire had also spread to the rear of a neighbouring property
Nobody was injured in the incident which happened at about 1.20am on Friday.
Firefighters remained at the incident for about one hour and 20 minutes.
