A MOTORIST was arrested early this morning after driving the wrong way down the M62.
The vehicle was spotted by a Highways England patrol and also caught on cameras.
Footage from North West Motorway Police shows a number of near misses as confused motorists pass the driver on the wrong side of the motorway.
The driver eventually came to a stop on the M6 near to J21 and arrested by Cheshire Police officers on suspicion of dangerous driving and other motoring offences.
