YOUNG people aged 10 to 18 are being asked for their thoughts on how involved they should be when it comes to decision making over their general wellbeing.

In September last year, The St Helens Youth Council – in collaboration with St Helens Council – announced during the Heart of Glass art project, Baa Baa Baric, that it will be putting together a Children’s Charter for the benefit of young people.

As part of the creation of the Charter, the Youth Council would like to hear from as many local young people as possible and have produced a short questionnaire for them to complete.

Responses from the questionnaire – which has so far seen 300 young people have their say – will be put forward to a focus group of professionals and young people.

Work will then take place to create a clearer and more substantial Charter.
