A 53-YEAR-OLD is set to be interviewed under police caution in relation to a pensioner's wallet being stolen at a builders warehouse in Warrington.
The wallet was stolen at approximately 2.30pm on Monday, May 7 when the victim, a 78-year-old man from St Helens, was in Selco Builders Warehouse on Milner Street.
The wallet, which was of sentimental value to the victim, contained cards, licences and approximately £120 in cash.
PC Rob Catterall said: “This was a callous act in which a 78-year-old animal rescue co-founder has had his wallet taken when his back was turned."
CCTV images have now been removed at the request of Cheshire Police.
Information can also be passed anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
