A MAN charged with the murder of Robert Sempey in Haydock is due to appear in court on Monday.
Ian Robertson, 33, of Beilby Road, Haydock, is accused of murdering 37-year-old Mr Sempey in January.
Meanwhile, Kirsty Jervis, 30, of the same address, faces a charge of assisting an offender.
The body of 37-year-old Mr Sempey, who was from Newton-le-Willows, was discovered in a back garden on Bielby Road, Haydock on Sunday, January 21.
Robertson is accused of murdering Mr Sempey between Thursday, January 18 and Sunday 21.
Robertson and jervis had pleaded not guilty to the offences at an earlier hearing.
They are both due to appear before Liverpool Crown Court on Monday afternoon (May 21).
