POLICE have issued an appeal for help tracing two 14-year-old girls from Prescot, who have been reported missing.
Mia Maylor and Samantha Midgley were last seen at around 8.30pm in Prescot on Thursday (May 17) and have not been seen since.
Mia is described as white, 4ft 2in tall, of slim build, pale complexion and green eyes.
She has a Liverpool accent and shoulder length ginger hair. Mia was last seen wearing a school uniform – black blazer, white shirt, a blue and black skirt and black shoes.
Samantha is described as white, 4ft 10in tall, pale complexion and brown eyes. She has a Liverpool accent and shoulder length light brown hair, worn in a ponytail. She also wears thick black framed glasses. Samantha was last seen wearing a school uniform – black blazer, white shirt, black pleated skirt and black shoes.

Both girls are known to frequent the Halewood and Kirkby areas.
Officers would urge the girls or anyone who has seen them to contact @MerPolCC, 101 or Missing People on 116 000.
