Yuri Goffinet and Nicola Bailey will walk down the aisle this Saturday – the same day as the royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
MEET one of the couples who are set to tie the knot on the same day as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Yuri Goffinet, 48 and Nicola Bailey, 38 are due to wed this Saturday, May 19 – the same day as the royal wedding.
Yuri and Nicola, from Earlestown, who have been together for five years, will be saying ‘I do’ at St Helens Town Hall before going to The Boat House at Carr Mill Dam.
Yuri said: “When we found out we were getting married on the same day we thought hopefully the weather will be brilliant for us and the gods will shine on us both.”
He joked: “It’s a shame they had to try to steal our thunder though.”
