The scene on Corporation Street
A CRASH involving two vehicles in blocking Corporation Street in the town centre.
Police say they were called to reports of a collision shortly after 8am this morning.
A spokesman for Merseyside Police said: "Two vehicles were involved in a road traffic collision on the junction of Corporation Street and Hall Street.
A Ford Mondeo is one of the vehicles.
"There are no injuries at this stage.
"The cars will have to be moved as they are blocking the road."
Emergency services are at the scene.
