A 28-YEAR-OLD man facing charges of assault and making threats to kill has had his trial rescheduled.
Peter Shelley, of Fernhill Walk, Clock Face, is accused of assaulting a female victim on January 29 and of making a threat to kill her, intending that she would fear the threat would be carried out.
Shelley pleaded not guilty to the assault charge on February 1 and the threat to kill charge on March 8.
Shelley was due before Liverpool Magistrates' Court for a trial on Monday, April 23.
The case has been adjourned until Wednesday, May 2.
Shelley has been remanded in custody until then.
