BURGLARS forced their way into a pizza restaurant and made off with a till containing money.
The break-in happened at Papa's Pizza on Molyneux Drive, Whiston at around 3.45am on Saturday (April 21).
After police launched enquiries, a 27-year-old man from Prescot was arrested on suspicion of burglary, who has since been released under investigation.
Police say CCTV, witness and forensic enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
