A MAN who faces trial over an alleged GBH attack has been refused bail at Liverpool Crown Court, today.

Mark John Bacon, 36, of no fixed address is charged with maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm on Christopher Campbell at an address on Longridge Avenue, Blackbrook.

The alleged assault is claimed to have taken place on Wednesday, December 27.

Bacon pleaded not guilty to the offence in February and was remanded into custody ahead of a scheduled trial in June.

Appearing in court today, an application for bail was refused.

The trial has been listed for the week of Monday, June 25.
