A 20-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking and threatening to put a brick through someone's window on Christmas Eve.

Callum Boscoe, of Victoria Road, Widnes has been charged in connection with offences alleged to have taken place in St Helens.

He is accused of taking a Rover City car without the owner's consent in St Helens on December 24, 2017, with damage then caused to the vehicle.

Boscoe is also charged with threatening to damage property by putting a brick through a window.

He is also accused of driving the car without a licence on Jubits Lane, Sutton Manor that day and without third-party insurance.

He was due to appear before Liverpool Magistrates' Court today (April 17).
