THIS picture of a moon setting over Billinge Hill at dawn over the weekend was sent in by Star reader Ian Bonnell.
Photographer Ian said: “A huge thank you to everyone who liked this picture (on social media). It’s truly appreciated and makes wading through ankle deep mud to get to the right spot all the more worthwhile.
“Of course, the shot I’m still after is a big shiny moon sitting square behind the beacon and I nearly got it yesterday but it was starting to fade with the light getting stronger. And just at that moment what little sun was shining on the beacon disappeared.
“So, I’m still waiting for ‘that one’...”
