RUNNING addict Jane Ball will be taking on her seventh annual St Helens 10k this year to raise funds for Steve White who is battling glioblastoma multiforme.
Mum-of-three Jane, who works as a sales executive at the St Helens Star, caught the running bug at her first 10k and now calls the hometown run one of her “favourites”.
The 40-year-old from Sutton, who now runs everyday, said: “The St Helens 10k is the event that got me into running and I absolutely love it now. I had never run in my life before that second St Helens 10k.
“It’s definitely one of my favourites and I want to thank the people who have sponsored me so far because it’s for an important cause.”
