TWO teenage boys who were charged in connection with the discovery of a huge cannabis farm in Clinkham Wood have appeared at Liverpool Magistrates' Court today.
The 15-year-old boy and 16-year-old boy appeared before the court today charged with production of a controlled Class B drug.
They had been due to appear yesterday but the case was adjourned due to the need for an interpreter.
Both youths are next due to appear on Monday, April 30.
Officers discovered the cannabis farm which contained 1,289 plants with an estimated annual yield of £4m at a property on Loughrigg Avenue after officers were called over "suspicious activity" involving two vans and made six arrests.
Meanwhile, four men: Giang Van Hoang, 37, of Webb Street, Liverpool; Le Vaiz Huang, 25, of no fixed address; Lian Huang, of no fixed address and Dan Van Le, 30, of Greenleaf Street, Toxteth appeared at South Sefton Magistrates' Court on Easter Monday and are next due before Liverpool Crown Court on Friday next week (April 13).
