THERE'S still time to donate to the St Helens Easter Egg Appeal 2018 for children in need across the borough.
Last year’s efforts saw 1,500 chocolate eggs handed in and it is hoped this year’s appeal can collect event more.
Residents looking to get involved can drop off their Easter eggs at a number of public buildings around the town can go to:
St Helens Baptist Church on Thursdays from 11am to 2pm and Saturdays from 10am to 1pm
St Helens Town Hall, Wesley House and Atlas House on weekdays from 9am to 5pm
Peasley Cross URC on Sundays from 11am to 1pm and Tuesdays from 10am to 12pm

Cllr Lisa Preston, St Helens Council’s cabinet member for community safety and housing, said: “Our annual Easter egg appeal has been a huge success since it first launched, with thousands of treats donated.
“However, the sad truth is that many children and young people in our borough face waking up on Easter Sunday without a treat, so I’d encourage anyone who can help to do what they can in order to bring some much needed joy into these youngsters lives.”
Donations will be accepted up until Thursday, March 29.
