Police at the scene on Sunday
A MAN arrested by armed police following reports that he was in possession of a weapon has been cautioned for possession of cannabis.
Police marksmen were called to an address on Gillars Green Drive, Gillars Green to reports of a man allegedly in possession of weapons and making threats. on Sunday, March 18, around 2.25pm.
A 45-year-old man from St Helens was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and possession of cannabis.
No further action will be taken in relation to the firearm possession allegations as no weapons have been found.
