INDIE rockers Stillia have announced their biggest headline show to date at Manchester's Band on the Wall.

The four-piece band from Sutton, who are fresh off their Australia, New Zealand and Dubai tour with 90s icons Ocean Colour Scene, will be offering 350 tickets – but book fast because their last Manchester gig at The Deaf Institute sold out in a week.

Commenting on the announcement, the band including lead singer Jack Bennett, lead guitarist Connor Moran, bass guitarist Johnny Waring and drummer Matty Bennett, said: "It's exciting times and our plans for the show. It's going to be another step up.

"There's so many more exciting announcements we have coming really soon.

"I say it in every interview and I don't care, but this band from Sutton High school wouldn't be doing all this without the backing of the people in this little town of ours.

"Since day one people have travelled 10 minutes in a taxi to watch us play in bars on Duke Street, then we met St Helens people who flew hours on a plane over to the other side of the world to watch one of their town's bands support one of the best bands from 90s.

"The support from everyone at the St Helens Star since day one has always been there for us. We love it, but it's exactly the same for fans of ours, all across the UK who buy tickets, buy our merchandise or buy our singles.

"Everyone who supports us, it's greatly appreciated.

"We have an amazing team behind us, our producers Sugar House are incredible and we have a great management team around us and we're working with a huge name in promotions MjR.

"So we think it's going to be another step up this year! We can't wait."

The show at Band on the Wall will take place on Sunday, May 27.
