A WOMAN was arrested on suspicion of distraction burglary in Parr yesterday, Monday.
The 33-year-old, from St Helens, was taken into custody after officers received reports of a woman forcing herself into a residential address in the Parr area on Saturday around 9.30pm before stealing cash, alcohol and electrical equipment.
She was arrested in connection with a shop theft in February as well.
The woman has been conditionally bailed to a date later in March pending further enquiries.
The arrest is part of Merseyside Police's Operation Castle scheme.
