- Saints kept chipping away in the second half without really hitting full throttle with tries from Zeb Taia and Mark Percival, both courtesy of Jonny Lomax, giving them a winning lead.
- Oliver Roberts pegged one back for the hosts, but Saints were not letting this one slip away.
- A large and vocal Saints contingent bolstered the 5,915 gate in Yorkshire.
